Arian Flux Technologies (AFT), founded in 2022 and headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, has developed highly innovative and proprietary technologies in magnet motors and drives for high-volume low-speed industrial fans and other applications. High-volume low-speed (HVLS) fans are ceiling fans greater than Eight feet in diameter that rely on size instead of speed to move significant amounts of air. They are fast growing in popularity in a wide variety of industrial, commercial, and residential settings, often working in conjunction with HVAC systems for energy savings. HVLS fans have assumed a leading role in the green building movement. Since their inception, HVLS fans have been available with geared motors, but that technology has quickly become outdated as gearless (also known as a direct drive) HVLS solutions have emerged.
